Pity

Do you ever have pity parties? Oh, come on...you KNOW that you do! I had one of those kind of days yesterday. I have been just a bit overwhelmed with several different things that are weighing very heavy on my shoulders. I am usually a very strong person and I don't cry often but yesterday I just had a day. All day. Off and on. And as I type this. So that was my ME for the day. Do you ever have ME days like that for you?

Part of my meltdown was concerning my husbands health. It is still FAR from perfect, but he agreed to go to the doc yesterday. The bad news--he's got an acute sinus infection. The good news--his very bad headaches were not an onset of another stroke(which is always a fear in the back of my mind). The bad news--well he doesn't like me sharing things so I guess I'll just leave that and not say...

And I've something really HORRIBLE to share with you...after May I won't have internet anymore. I just have to let it go for now. I will still have my Thursday ahhhh's, because I will go to my daughter's house once a week to post them. But I certainly will not be around much. I will be back full time just as soon as I can swing it though. This will just be a temporary, yet necessary thing. Stupid bills.

ANYWAY--that was my day. PLUS--none of you had a Bingo. WHAT A BUMMER!!!!

OH--I know what I can do. Let's have a Cheer-Me-Up random drawing! Oh, FUN!! This drawing will be for the second MYSTERY charm pack from Richard. Are you ready??

NUMBER 71!!

If you don't know who you are number 71; HERE IS YOUR BLOG!

Wow, I feel so much better! That was fun :)

We all have days like that, and it's not fun. So glad to have virtual friends who can pray across the miles, as I do for you. :)

aww, so sorry to hear this and paryers for your husband AND you! so sorry to hear that you won't have internet.... that is the one thing I can't live without, we don't have a cell phone ( I never had one) we only have a lan line and then we have bunny ears for the TV, so we get maybe 10 or more local channels, no dish or cable tv, we DO pay $8 for streaming netflix though, our TV is the bedroom can do it straight thru the TV and the kids TV have an xbox hooked up, it's great with NO commercials. Keep in touch though... and still no EQ??

Well I had my own little pity party yesterday too...so yes I know how it feels. It's no fun and I hope you get to feeling better. Sorry to hear you will be "off the grid" for a while, I just started following your blog. But I understand that too. Times are tough. Hang in there! And thanks for the BINGO. It's been a little ray of sunshine in my month!

Hope today is better. So sorry to hear that you won't be online except for Thursday postings. I had 2 buttons today, but nothing that is close to a bingo yet.

Sending my love... We will all still follow you to see your Ahhhs on Thursdays and keep us updated about your adventures.
We all have down days... some people think I don't, but I do too...
Recently, it is the sunshine from friends and blogland that keeps me going! You especially! I know you will miss the internet, but you will find a way to make it work.
Keeping you and your husband and your family in my thoughts and prayers...

Positive thought for the day:

Think how much sewing time you are going to have if you are not busy responding to all our comments! Wow - I'll bet you get a lot done!!

Adding my sympathies with all your other bloggy friends here! I've only found you and now you'll be gone (mostly) for a while - bummer!!! But it will all work out you know! Take this time to do other things that you want to do - make it a special ME time for you :*) We'll all be praying for you and your loved ones, and for you to be able to come back soon!

Hopefully everything starts going more your way very very soon. We all have meltdowns of one type or another once in awhile.

Hope you feel better soon. This too shall pass. I am one call away from a bingo. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Oh gosh Tonya! I'm really sad for all you dealt with all in one day. How frustrating but at least the biggest fear about the headaches wasn't the case so that's one bright spot. I hope the last bad thing you chose not to share isn't too bad. I know how I feel about my husband and anything being wrong with him scares me so I'm sure you were very worried and probably will always be that way.

I am very sad you're losing your internet. :( I'd go crazy without mine although my house would thank me since it's obvious between the pain I deal with daily and my internet the house is not cleaned anywhere near the way it should be. I sure hope something changes so you're not gone too long. :(
Hugs to ya!

And no bingo from me yet either. Heck I haven't even matched one for the past two days. I'm shocked at that really.

So sorry that you are going through a rough time. Hope your hubby gets better. I know about strokes. I have had 2. I used to
get really scared if I had any type of symptoms~~i.e. left arm heavy, etc I have since decided that if my arm is numb/heavy, I check my BP; if it's too high, I
take a med to bring it down, and then check it again. If my arm is still heavy, and BP high, then
I go to the Dr. It doesn't happen
very often. I was completely paralyzed on the left side after the first one. With the good Lord and my PT, I was able to learn to write and walk again. I did have more weakness on the left after the 2nd one...so I had to retire.
I am just now 56. First stroke @
44, 2nd one @49. You have my e-mail, let me know if there is any thing I can do~talk with him & let
him know what I went through. I
was an RN. At least now, I am able
to quilt and embroider~~it's great
PT!.
Will miss you on the computer, but
will look for your postings on Thurs.

Still no Bingo, but getting close.

Please take care, and you all are in my prayers!

Sometimes the only thing we can do when confronted with a stack of problems is cry before we pull ourselves together and carry on. I totally understand taking a day to let it all out. You and your family are in my prayers.

I'm so sorry you are hurting. Don't worry...we aren't going to forget you and look forward to when you are able to return! You will be in my prayers. Just remember...all things work together for good to those who love the Lord!
